About the Artist
Kathleen Gadeken is a surface pattern designer and children's book illustrator based in Nebraska. Her botanical collections — rooted in faith, nature, and quiet courage — are designed for the gift, stationery, home décor, and children's markets.
Kathleen brings years of experience working with children and a deep understanding of what resonates in kids' and faith-based markets.
She is a 2024 Bonnie Christine Immersion Alum, 2023 Stacy Bloomfield Graduate, and active member of SCBWI and
Nebraska Writers Guild.
